What is Spass

Spass is a kind of pass that enables the mid level skilled foreigners who get a fixed monthly salary of a minimum of $1,800 to be able to work in Singapore. The employers shall make S Pass applications on the behalf of the candidate.  This means that if you earn at least $1,800 then you can work in Singapore without any issue. Eligibility

A degree or a diploma is mandatory to be eligible for the S Pass application. Without a diploma or a degree, it is not possible that you will be entitled for a S Pass application.
The technical certificates can be taken into consideration as well. These are certainly very broadly the courses that do the training of the applicant to be qualified as a specialist or a technician in their selected field.
The certifications shall also consist of a minimum of 1 year of full time study program.
The type of job also matters that is it has to be technicians, professionals or specialists.

Quota

Medical insurance

The need to purchase and manage the medical insurance is one of the  conditions of S Pass. For the medical insurance policies that renew on or are taken up on 1 Jan 2010, then the insurance coverage shall be a minimum of $15,000 each year for every worker’s inpatient care.
Applicants of S pass who have a fixed monthly salary of more than $2,500 might apply for the Dependents pass for their family members.
